Hi, I’m Lisa McKenna, founder of Tru Lifestyle + The Tru Return Method™ — a holistic wellness practice supporting women through the transitions of midlife with compassionate coaching, sustainable lifestyle design, and whole-person wellness.

For over 25 years, I’ve supported clients through massage therapy, yoga, holistic nutrition, mindfulness, and Health & Wellness Coaching. My passion has always been helping women reconnect with themselves — physically, mentally, and emotionally — so they can feel more balanced, energized, and aligned in their everyday lives.

Like many women, I understand how easy it is to lose yourself while caring for everyone else. Midlife can bring changes that affect our bodies, energy, relationships, and sense of identity. But it can also become an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and intentionally design your next chapter with greater health, purpose, and wellbeing.

That understanding inspired me to create The Tru Return Method™ — a coaching approach designed to help women create meaningful, sustainable lifestyle shifts that support long-term health and wellness.

My approach blends body awareness, mindset, stress management, mindfulness, and intentional habit change to support whole-person wellness. I believe lasting transformation happens through small, consistent shifts that help you feel more connected to the life you truly want to live.

My Background

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

  • Registered Yoga Instructor

  • Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and groups throughout San Diego creating wellness experiences that inspire balance, healing, self-discovery, and renewal.

Beyond the Work

I find balance and inspiration through simple, meaningful moments — spending time with my daughters, being out in nature, enjoying a quiet morning at a local coffee shop, and getting creative in the kitchen making healthy meals to share.

These everyday rituals remind me that wellness isn’t about perfection — it’s about creating a life that feels nourishing, intentional, and true to you.
